What's in your Capsule?

In my capsule I would have multiple symbols of my life. They would all be contained in a corked bottle..... message in a bottle style. As a symbol of my childhood, I would place the surfboard that I learned to surf with in it. As a symbol of my heritage or culture I would place a clover and an Australian flag inside. For a symbol of my accomplishments I will include a microphone and a smiley face because as I grow up I would like to be happy and have my career include something about music. To portray my legacy I would like to include a piece of sea glass. When you find a piece of sea glass on the beach, you find it amidst billions of grains of sand. As I grow older, I would like to be that piece of sea glass. I want to know that I have become a person that others can look up to, whether the whole world or my family members. Either way, I am glad to be found on the beach. Last but not least, I would like to have a song float out of my bottle when something is open. The song would be "Here comes the sun" by The Beatles. I hope that when one open's my capsule this song makes them happy. What's would your objects be?

My Motif

In the story we are currently reading in English, The Glory Field, there are many motifs that can represent the theme of hope and the future. One that not only is very prominent in the story, but also my life, is the motif of music. In the Glory Field music is a form of expressing the soul and a way to show feelings that cannot be conveyed in words. It is a way to understand what the world is doing around you just by sound. In my life, music is something that has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. I am able to sit on the piano and play for hours, and have it feel like minutes. For some reason, music is almost a sanctum for me, like how in The Glory Field, it is for Malcom.
