Being a witness to me means understanding the situation that you saw and being able to share this information in a comprehensive way to others. There are many types of witnesses however. You could be a primary witness of a murder, robbery or vandalism. You could also be a secondary witness where you are now informed of the crime or happening. I am now a witness of the Holocaust because I have absorbed the horrors of WWII. I am a witness because I have talked about what I know with others. I am a witness because I know realize how many people this act affected.
I have been transformed by our fieldtrip to L.A. in many ways. One of these ways is that I now know how intense and horrific this experience was for people. I was transformed in a way that I now understand that American wasn't fully the good guy in this expanse of detainment. I have been transformed in a way that I will never forget. I believe that this experience was very informative and important.
